Christmas concerts by Windmill Primary In Harmony with Opera North

  Children from Windmill Primary School will be out and about performing Christmas music in Hunslet and Belle Isle on Thursday (5 December 2013), culminating with the switching on of the Christmas lights on Belle Isle Circus. The school has been working with teams from Opera North’s In Harmony programme.

Belle Isle’s old library has a new name

  From 25th October, Belle Isle’s old library will be known as BITMO’s GATE. The tenant-led organisation, which manages almost 2,000 council houses in Belle Isle, chose the name at a recent Board meeting. The old library will now be known as BITMO’s GATE “a resource centre for Belle Isle”.
