Sunday (25 March 2018) sees another children’s Easter Egg Hunt at the community allotment, organised by Hunslet Carr Residents Association (HCRA). The allotment is run by HCRA and nearby Hunslet Carr Primary School. All local children are welcome to join the fun, but they must be accompanied by an adult.

An old stone sink sunk in the wild flower garden at the Sandon Mount allotment attracted frogs, which amazed the children and inspired the volunteers to create a wildlife pond and garden. The BUET team at Greencore Leeds wanted to get involved, so offered their services to dig out the pond in

The acclaimed Hunslet Carr Residents Association are this Thursday (1 December 2016) hosting the first-ever Hunslet Christmas Lights switch-on, featuring carols from a local kids choir. The event is taking place on Balm Road, outside the Arthington Court sheltered housing complex, from 5pm – when the nearby Hunslet Carr Primary
