Five fire engines attended Cottingley Towers just after midnight last night (00:31 on Friday 10 February 2017) to tackle a flat fire.
Breathing apparatus was used and one firefighter suffered smoke inhalation. He was taken to hospital for a precautionary check up. No one else was injured in the blaze.
Engines attended from Hunslet, Leeds and Morley fire stations.
