Crews from eight fire stations converged on Cottingley this morning to deal with a fire in a flat on the 20th floor of the tower block. Fire fighters used breathing apparatus to rescue four casualties from the smoke logged floor. They were taken to safety and passed into the care
Five fire engines attended Cottingley Towers just after midnight last night (00:31 on Friday 10 February 2017) to tackle a flat fire. Breathing apparatus was used and one firefighter suffered smoke inhalation. He was taken to hospital for a precautionary check up. No one else was injured in the blaze.
