Rugby News

Hunslet Hawks thanked all the people who took part in the HIST sponsored walk to Dewsbury in August. The total amount raised, which was a record, was just over £2,100 and this was a magnificent effort by all concerned. The winner of the replica shirt for the individual raising the most money will be revealed at the launch night later in the year in early December.

In the meantime the Hawks are involved in the Rugby League World Cup Festival at South Leeds Academy on Saturday (26 October). As well as fun and games, the opening match between England and Australia will be shown on a giant 20m2 screen.
