Fun at the library Beeston Library is to host two Hallowe’en events. Beeston’s Beastly Ball, on Thursday 31 October from 3-4pm, will feature “All things ghostly! Fangtastic Fancy Dress, badge making, spooky crafts, slime and a Scary Skeleton!” with prizes for the best costumes. Then on Friday 1 November
Bulb Bonanza Groundwork Leeds are giving away 80,000 daffodil bulbs to groups around the city. The bulbs are to be planted in school grounds, community centres, youth clubs, roadsides, etc. Groups need to apply by 27th September, stating exactly where they wish to plant the bulbs. You can download

Asha Pre-school is looking to take on a worker for nine hours a week. The pre-school is a very small family friendly facility based in the Asha Neighbourhood Project on Statford Street in Beeston. Asha is a local women’s charity which supports local women in accessing mainstream services and developing skills.
