The Bridge Café is holding a ‘car boot sale’, strictly speaking it’s a table top sale but who’s quibbling? It’s on Saturday morning at the Watsonian Pavilion in Cross Flatts Park 9am-1pm.
Also at Cross Flatts Park, Park Roll roller skating is back from 10am-12pm in the multi-use games area near Maud Avenue. Book via ls-ten.org.
Middleton Park Baptist Church are hosting an art exhibition which will be open on Saturdays and Thursdays, 1-4pm until 7 April. The church is located on Middleton Park Avenue opposite Middleton Primary School.
Hunslet Club Parkside are having a great start to the rugby league season. Why not catch them as they take on Thatto Heath Crusaders from St Helens on Saturday at Station Moor on Beza Street opposite the Gardeners Arms, kick off 2pm, entry £3.
Hunslet Tenants & Residents Association will be carrying out a litter pick on Sunday. Meet at the Church of the Nazarene on Grove Road at 12pm.
Leeds United will be hosting Norwich City at Elland Road on Sunday. Kick off is at 2pm, expect the usual traffic congestion in Beeston before and after the match.
Hunslet & Riverside Councillors have organised two residents meetings this week. The first, for Beeston Hill takes place at the Hamara Centre on Tempest Road on Monday from 6:30pm. The second, for Hunslet Moor and the Hunslet Hall Road area is on Thursday at Dewsbiry Road Community Hub & Library, also at 6:30pm.
On Tuesday residents in Hunslet are invited to speak to the local PCSOs over a cuppa at Hunslet Community Hub & Library between 10am-12pm.
Also on Tuesday, skips will be delivered to Dulverton Green, Close and Square in Cottingley to help residents with theirr spring cleaning.
Your Space are starting a new Women’s Craft & Chat group. The free sessions will run every Wednesday, 5-6pm, at Cramore & Raylands Community Centre at the end of Cranmore Drive in Belle Isle.
There are more free activities for women on Holbeck Moor this week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. Activities range from Ping Pong to Rugby and from a buggy walk to after school family sports.
And finally, Leeds Baby Bank will be outside the Dewsbury Road Community Hub & Library on Thursday morning between 10am-12pm. They offer support and advice to any parents with children under 5 who are struggling.
