The White Rose Shopping Centre, which celebrates its 20th birthday shortly, has let all the units in its new extension and will be holding a recruitment day for the new businesses.
The 65,000 sq ft extension, which is due to fully launch in Autumn 2017 with the dining venues opening in July, provides the full ‘day-out’ experience for White Rose customers with six diverse restaurants, an 11-screen IMAX Cineworld multiplex cinema, outdoor event space, and bespoke play area.
The recruitment event has been organised by The Point, the Council’s Jobshop based in the centre, and takes place on Thursday 6 April, between 10am-8pm in the central atrium. This will be a chance to find out about the jobs on offer in the cinema and restaurants, you are encouraged to bring your CV and find out about the help they can offer.
Côte-owned Limeyard has chosen White Rose for its first outlet in the North and its third location in the country, offering an all-day American-style dining experience, and is joined by casual burger restaurant Five Guys. In addition to the two, the leisure scheme will also introduce Wagamama, Chiquito, TGI Friday’s, and Pizza Hut.
Steven Foster, General Manager of White Rose Shopping Centre, said: “This is a really exciting time for us at White Rose, and we’re thrilled that our leisure extension is now fully let. We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone under our roof, and the new restaurants and cinema will only add to the experience.”
