White Rose development moves forward

White Rose welcomes six new restaurants as part of new outdoor development, ‘The Village’

On Tuesday (4 July 2017) White Rose Shopping Centre opened five new restaurants as part of its 65,000 sq ft extension, The Village, including Pizza Hut Restaurants, TGI Friday’s, Five Guys, Chiquito, and Limeyard, with Wagamama to open on 10 July.

Côte-owned Limeyard has chosen White Rose for its first outlet in the north and third location in the country, offering an all-day American-style dining experience, while Pizza Hut Restaurants is opening its first Hut in six years in The Village.

The diverse new restaurants in The Village will be joined by an outdoor children’s play area later this summer and an 11-screen IMAX Cineworld multiplex towards the end of the year, offering the full ‘day-out’ experience for White Rose customers.

The new restaurants follow the opening of White Rose’s brand new Next store, which saw £6 million investment to create the brand’s new Yorkshire flagship.

Steven Foster, General Manager of White Rose Shopping Centre, said:

“We’re delighted to open The Village and welcome six new restaurants to White Rose. The forthcoming addition of our outdoor playground area and IMAX Cineworld will further solidify White Rose as an ultimate day-out destination. We’re really proud to introduce The Village.”
