The Forgotten Folk of Hunslet republished

I am Marjorie Biggin and I wrote and published a book in 2010 entitled The Forgotten Folk of Hunslet, which proved very popular – so much so that I had the book reprinted last year.

The book deals with the population and history of Hunslet from its early days up to modern times, accompanied by diagrams and photographs and is a very easy read, encapsulating the lives , hopes and ambitions of the common folk of the district. Who knows you might even find reference to a relative from the past.

Copies are avaliable for sale at £7 if collected or £10 if posted within the UK. If interested please contact me on 07533 779424.
