Sports centres set for investment

Leeds City Council has approved funding of £500,000 to make improvements across a number of sports centres in the city including Middleton Leisure Centre and the John Charles Centre For Sport. £30,000 has been allocated to refurbish the studio and make improvements to the changing rooms at Middleton Leisure Centre

Landlord licensing scheme launches on Monday

Private landlords in Beeston Hill have until Monday (6 January 2020) to register for Leeds City Council’s new Selective Licensing Scheme, or face a fine. The scheme has been introduced to improve the quality of housing. The licence covers issues such as gas and electrical safety, making sure fire alarms
