Domestic abuse survivors create meaningful change within West Yorkshire Police

Since the start of 2024, the Women’s Group of the Voices Project have been working closely with West Yorkshire Police to address women’s experiences of interacting with police in relation to domestic abuse incidents. Women’s safeguarding event at Asha a success

The Asha Neighbourhood Project in Beeston recently hosted a successful Safeguarding Awareness event. The event was organised by Tahena, Asha’s Health Development worker and Syedun from the Sanctuary project, and built on the successes of past sessions on Safeguarding. Asha organised a range of topics and activities to discuss with
