St Luke’s CARES’ Dewsbury Road Shop Extends

More sofas, white goods and training

St Luke’s CARES has extended its successful Dewsbury Road Charity Shop, directly connecting the shop to their refurbished warehouse.

With even more retail space than before, the Dewsbury Road shop is a great destination to pick up quality pre-loved furniture at unbeatable prices. White goods are back on the menu, along with sofas, beds, table & chairs, shelving units, bureaus and wardrobes as well as the usual household items in the shop.

The refurbished warehouse has created space for furniture repair, white goods testing and upcycling spaces, giving the staff and volunteers opportunity to make the most of every donation. With this in mind our house clearance and furniture collection service has a new website www.leedshouseclearance.org.uk where you can book a job and find out more about who you are supporting.

Training is now back on the agenda and our Olympiads weren’t the only ones to receive a lottery boost. St Luke’s CARES struck gold and received funding for 4 years to continue to offer retail training to individuals wanting to hone their skills. Watch this space for dates in the Autumn for a re-launch of the TRY Project and details of how to sign up.
