Wednesday 31 August will see Interserve take over the Central Atrium of the White Rose Shopping Centre in South Leeds, for a day-long recruitment fair and you’re invited.
Nationally within the sector, July’s retail sales were up by 1.1% in comparison to July 2015, linked with youth unemployment rates decreasing in Leeds this year to just 13% for 16-24 year olds. In light of these figures, Interserve Learning & Employment is teaming up with local employers in South Leeds for a day-long recruitment fair, with the aim of using collaboration to provide even more local jobs for local people.
The recruitment fair will see employers meeting with local residents to offer job opportunities and to continue to develop South Leeds this summer. Various employers including Interserve FM, TC Catering and the Army, along with Interserve representatives will be eager to advise and inform local residents about their career prospects. There are many routes available, including traineeships, apprenticeships, part-time and full-time work, all of which local retailers are eager to offer on the day.
The event takes place on Wednesday 31 August, 10am–8pm. There are many South Leeds residents’ already signed up to attend, eager to get onto the career ladder and fill the vacancies available.
