Rugby club benefit for Alzheimer’s charities

A charity fundraising event has been set up by Claire Brownsword from Middleton in honour of her Granddad Michael Ward who is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s Disease.

The event takes place at Corinthians Rugby Club and features a charity football match as well as a family fun day and disco.

Fairground rides, food, raffle, stalls and a children’s fancy dress competition. There will also be a performance by the Leeds Baton Rouge Majorettes. The fun runs from 1-6pm on Saturday (15 August 2015) and will be followed by a disco from 6:30pm until late in the clubhouse.

All funds raised will go to charities helping to fight Alzheimer’s Disease.

Leeds Corinthians RUFC is located next to Middleton Leisure Centre, Ring Road Middleton, LS10 4AX.
