The Parnaby Tavern, Hunslet is becoming ‘Dementia Friendly’

The Parnaby Tavern at Hunslet is now becoming ‘dementia friendly’ with the launch of a new weekly group.

The name of the new group will be the “Parnaby Pals”.

 

The address is the Parnaby Tavern, 1 Middleton Road, Hunslet, LS10 2AB. Telephone (0113) 271 2322.

For information the number 86 bus stops almost directly outside the pub.

It will be a weekly event on Wednesday afternoons between 2-4pm and the aim of the group is to simply to meet up, have a cuppa (or something stronger!) and a chat, and make new friends.

It is essentially for those affected by dementia but is open to all people who are in need of support and their carers. paranby tavern
