Charlies-Angel-Centre Foundation is hosting their annual Christmas memorial service for bereaved parents and families on Thursday (13 December 2018) at St Cross church in Middleton. Councillors unveiled a memorial stone yesterday (8 December 2018) remembering the service personnel who served at the Middleton airfield during the First World War from 1916-18. The granite plaque was donated by the Airfields of Britain Conservation Trust and is dedicated “to all units and personnel based here.” Father Andy
