Young and old pulling together at Middleton Railway

From empty home to Council house

An empty property scheme completed this March has added more homes to Leeds City Council’s housing stock and returned over 129 empty properties back into use across the city. Leeds housing association shortlisted for three national awards

BME-led housing association Unity Homes and Enterprise has received national recognition for its work after being shortlisted for three prestigious 24housing Awards. Unity, which has its headquarters in Chapeltown, but also manages properties in Beeston, Holbeck and Hunslet, has been singled-out in the ‘Community Achievement’ and ‘Customer Services Provider of
