A woman and boy were taken hospital following a fire at a house on Coupland Place in Beeston this afternoon (6 January 2018).
The two casualties suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
The fire, which started in the kitchen, was extinguished by firefighters using breathing apparatus. Two fire engines attended from Hunslet and Leeds fire stations.
