White Rose Shopping Centre is celebrating the launch of the festive season with a very special visitor, The Snowman™, on Saturday (16 November 2019).
The Snowman™ will be available to meet at intervals on Saturday at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, and 3:30pm.
There will also be live music, a giant game of pass the parcel, snowball target practice, and a special one-off show outdoors in The Village at 4pm.
White Rose also introduces its Festive Charity Gift Box on 16 November. The Gift Box will be open until 15 December and will be accepting donations of toys and gifts for South Leeds charity Kidz Klub. Donation suggestions include teddies, LEGO, colouring supplies, and puzzles.
Finally, it’s just not Christmas without a visit from the man in red. White Rose’s grotto is open from 16 November until Christmas Eve. It’s just £5 per visitor, including a gift from Santa himself, and daily hours can be found on the White Rose website.
Steven Foster, General Manager of White Rose Shopping Centre, said:
“We’re so excited to kick off this festive season at White Rose with a visit from The Snowman™ and our Kidz Klub gift donation station. We always enjoy celebrating Christmas with our local community, and every year we’re delighted to see how well-received our charity donation station is.
“We invite our visitors to stay tuned for more festive events throughout November and December, we’ve got a few more festive treats up our sleeve.”
More events will be announced throughout November. For further information on everything festive at White Rose, visit www.white-rose.co.uk
