Belle Isle Elderly Winter Aid (BIEWA) celebrated the International Day of Older People on Wednesday (5 October 2016). Four organisations were invited to have stalls at the event: Age UK – Digital Angels – Morag Wright; Citizen’s Advice Service – Victoria Elmsley; Women’s Health Matters – Sally Blyth and Carers
Holbeck Elderly Aid delivered a cultural gem of an event last week (Tuesday 7 October 2014). More than 50 people came to celebrate International Day of Older People at St. Matthew’s Community Centre in Holbeck. The brief was to deliver something which defined culture.
