It doesn’t seem a week ago we were swanning around in tee-shirts and shorts! But today slushy wet snow has hit south Leeds and is delaying traffic and bus services.
08.19am: Some of the minor roads are quite slippy – and there are reports traffic along Hunslet Road and Dewsbury Road is moving slowly.
Some bus services are delayed and Arriva is reporting that all services are running on main main roads only. Check out the latest bus service news over at Metro.
The snow’s not that deep and there are no reported school closures (Catholic schools aren’t on holiday yet), but you can check the latest here.
We’ll update the blog if conditions worsen but the forecast for Leeds this afternoon is becoming drier with sunny intervals.
