Good morning South Leeds!

Here’s a slightly abridged roundup of what’s been making South Leeds tick over the past week on the area’s top websites, blogs and Facebook.

The centrepiece of a £2million revamp of Middleton Park has finally been completed after bad weather caused building delays, reports the YEP. The Friends of Middleton Park group have posted a photo of a FOMP fuddle in the Lakeside Centre on their Facebook page.

A meeting which could be a turning point for the Friends of New Forest Village group in Middleton is being held next week.

Middleton Railway’s famous Santa trains will start again this coming weekend.

Over on Facebook…

Friends of Sharp Lane Plantation have posted some photos of their recent planting exploits.

Voice of Holbeck residents meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday) 7pm in Cleveley’s Court community room.
