As we head into August you might notice a slow down on the South Leeds Life website.
In case you weren’t aware, all our contributors are volunteers and just like everyone else we have families and summer holidays. We are scaling back our activities so you will see fewer stories posted on the website and less activity on social media.
The regular Friday News Cafe at BITMO’s GATE will continue, so if you have some news you want to bring to our attention do call in for a chat with Ken Ingram. The Belle Isle news cafe will now run from 9-11am each Friday and you can also get a free breakfast at the Happy Friday Breakfast Club which runs at the same time at the GATE centre. The Thursday News Cafe in Beeston has been suspended, but will return in September on Tuesdays from 10am-12pm.
If you have a news story do please get in touch. You can use our Create an article for South Leeds Life page to send your story and photos, or if you prefer you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will be back at full throttle in September and there will be a newspaper hitting the streets on Thursday 1 September.
