Snakes in Middleton Park?

Facebook went a bit crackers yesterday after Michelle Deacon Robertshaw posted a photo of a large snake wrapped around a tree in Middleton Woods with the message “Took a walk in woods. Didn’t expect to see this 😁”

Over 1,500 people commented on the status, but few scrolled down to see Michelle’s follow up comment:

⛔️THE SNAKE WAS WITH ITS OWNER I ASKED IF I COULD TAKE A PIC⛔️

So that’s all good then. Don’t have nightmares.

  3. Wrong on every single level, my worst fear! I came home early from Florida as I saw a snake near our Hotel I was having Anxiety attacks, This should be illegal. The size of it aswell in a family place.

  4. Used to take my snakes into the local park. One at a time of course, while walking the dog. Nobody was shocked or appalled but more amused and fascinated. Even had one ‘snakehater’ change her mind and was proud to phone her daughters to let them know she’d been handling a snake.
