Shop locally at Holbeck Together’s new charity shop

The charity shop at Holbeck Together is now open!

Situated at the back of St Matthew’s Community Centre on the corner of Holbeck Moor, the shop is full to the brim of men’s, women’s and children’s clothes. Some are brand new, designer items, while others are pre-loved but in excellent condition.

Not only will you save some pennies by buying used items, but you are reducing your environmental impact by minimising waste and buying clothing that was made sustainably. You’re also bound to find some timeless classics that you won’t find on the high street.

As well as clothes, there are lots of shoes, accessories, children’s toys, books, DVDs, games, Bric a Brac, homewares and much more to take home.

The shop is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am-2pm. Access is via the main entrance on St Matthew’s Street by ringing the buzzer.

If you’re unable to visit in the week but would like to browse what’s on offer, there will be a pop-up clothes shop in the hall at St Matthew’s on Sunday 31 October from 10am-12pm.

If you have any clothes, shoes, accessories or Bric a Brac that you no longer need, we are extremely grateful for any donations. They need to be clean and in good condition. Please call the office on (0113) 245 5553 to arrange to drop off donations.

There is also a brilliant opportunity to volunteer your time to support Holbeck Together with running the shop. Responsibilities will include sorting, pricing and displaying stock, and operating the till. Whether you have experience working in a retail environment or would like to learn a new skill, there could be just the role you are looking for.

Contact Chris on chris@holbecktogether.org or call the office to find out more about the opportunities available or if you would like to have a chat about what volunteering involves.

Look out for details of future pop-up sales around Holbeck, on our social media channels.

If you know of someone who could benefit from support from Holbeck Together, please contact the organisation on (0113) 245 5553. You can find out more online at www.holbecktogether.org
