We have been distributing copies of our November newspaper to venues around LS10 and LS11 yesterday and today (3 November 2022).
Copies are available from various food shops including Beeston Nisa Extra, and Dewsbury Road Tescos as well as many small neighbourhood shops, charity shops, Community Hubs and Libraries, community centres, pubs and schools.
We are still unable to deliver to GP practices. We have delivered to care homes and sheltered flats and to the Neighbourhood Networks who organising support for older people. If your local venue hasn’t got any copies or has run out, please let us know, email: info@southleedslife.com
Remember, if you become a pound-a-week supporting subscriber we will deliver a copy to your door. Alternatively you can read it online here: issuu.com/southleedslife/docs/south_leeds_life_91_november_2022
Whilst you’re here, can we ask a favour?
South Leeds Life is published by a not-for-profit social enterprise. We keep our costs as low as possible but we’ve been hit by increases in the print costs for our monthly newspaper – up 50% so far this year.
Could you help support local community news by making a one off donation, or even better taking out a supporters subscription?
Donate here, or sign up for a subscription at bit.ly/SLLsubscribe
Sadly, I am unable to open the paper. I have tried with both my phone and my laptop.
Hi David, thanks for raising this. We’ll investigate why the usual ink isn’t working. In the meantime please use this link, which we’ve added to the post: https://issuu.com/southleedslife/docs/south_leeds_life_91_november_2022
