New life on Hunslet Moor

Local residents taking their daily exercise at Hunslet Moor yesterday (Tuesday 21 April 2020) got a welcome sight of new spring life.

One of the three temporary equine residents currently grazing away isolation had given birth in the early hours of the morning. A local lady confirmed the owner of the horses had already been to check on the new mum and baby three times that morning and was reportedly thrilled with the little filly. She seemed to have brightened the day of several onlookers in these unusual times.
