Calling all youth sports teams in Leeds…
To celebrate the opening of its new Leeds store in Holbeck on 10 July 2026, Motorpoint is looking to sponsor 22 youth sports teams in the city.
Covering the 2026/27 season, the used car retailer will be offering teams £1,000 each to be used towards new kits, equipment and competition fees.
Located on Whitehall Road, just a mile from the city centre and near Elland Road, Motorpoint Leeds will have almost 300 cars on its pitch, all available to drive away the same day.
Discussing the sponsorship and why Motorpoint wanted to support community-led sports initiatives in the city when opening its new store, Dan Stevens, General Sales Manager at Motorpoint Leeds, said:
“When it came to opening our new Leeds store, we wanted to find a really special way to celebrate. We know how important access to sports is for young people, and that’s why we’re so happy to be able to mark the opening of our 22nd store by sponsoring 22 youth sports teams across the city.”
All under-16s sports teams across Leeds and the surrounding areas are invited to apply.
