Jackie Hartley, who has worked at the store for fourteen years nominated BAFF where she is a trustee, having got involved with the group five years ago.

“The strength of this group” she said “is that they support each other. The parents support each other and the children do too. It’s too easy to get isolated when things get tough, but at BAFF you can share your troubles with friends.”

Lynn Bailey who runs BAFF explained that the grant would help them to keep their various weekly groups and activities, such as exercise and social groups, running at their base at Beeston Village Community Centre.

“It really is a lifeline and we are very grateful to Morrisons and especially the staff at Morley.”
