Organisers of the annual Beeston Festival are calling on local people to come and get involved as they plan events for 2017.
The committee have already announced that the festival in Cross Flatts Park will move from its usual June date to Saturday 15 July in order to avoid Ramadan.
The meeting will consider an idea to run more events throughout the year including a food festival, film festival, sport and literature events. This would be an exciting expansion of activities, but will need more residents to get involved to help organise.
If you’ve got ideas for things you would like to see happen in Beeston, or you would like to offer a helping hand, get along to the meeting on Tuesday 13 September 2016 at Brew Coffee Shop, 287 Beeston Road, LS11 7HX, starting at 6pm.
