‘Arathi Menon: Illegal to be Gay?’ will see the author in conversation with Isabelle Kenyon from Fly On The Wall Press.
Memon’s latest book is set in an Indian metropolis in 2013, ‘Da’ is a tender story of a boy caught between devotion and fear, chronicling the everyday courage it takes to love someone the world refuses to accept. Monday 8 June, 7-8pm.

John Ironmonger: Tackling Climate Change via Fiction. John Ironmonger is a best-selling author with a doctorate in zoology and a great speaker on the environment. In this talk we explore how we can tackle climate change via fiction.
His books ‘The Wager and the Bear’ and ‘Angel of St Piran’ are real world stories that help us to imagine the kind of earth we are creating.
John will be in conversation with Victoria Bonner on Wednesday 10 June, 7-8:30pm.
