Local residents in Middleton are being urged to take a pride in their community and join in with a special clean up of the area.
Aire Valley Homes, the Middleton Park councillors, Middleton Community Group, Leeds City Council and Rothwell Neighbourhood Policing Team have arranged a Community Clear Up in Middleton, on Thursday 27th September.
The plan is to meet at Tenants Hall Enterprise Centre at 11am on Thursday, and do some ‘community clearing up’ until around 2pm. The council’s Bulky Waste Collection Service and Street Cleaning Services to be on site too.
Residents are being encouraged to use the twelve skips that will be placed around the Middleton Park Grove, Throstles, Thorpes, Acres and Intake areas of Middleton to get rid of their bulky waste and to clear their gardens.
