It’s still Time To Shine

Health For All and Time to Shine are working hard to keep our community connected and enagaged with fun, interesting and healthy activities while we are stuck at home. All of the groups are free of charge and friendly.

Everybody is welcome to come along and get involved online. We can support with using the technology “Zoom” via the phone numbers below. You just need to send your email so that we can send you an invitation.

Mondays starts with Life Spa Mindfulness at 10am with Kate McIver, followed by Creative Writing at 2pm with Frederick Van Zyl.

Tuesdays is a chance to ask Steve Thompson any techy questions to help you use your computer, tablet or smartphone at the IT Workshop, from 10am. Martin Brennan hosts a general knowledge Quiz at 2pm.

Amy Hallam runs a Sing & Shine group on Wednesday morning from 11am. You don’t need to be pitch perfect, just be ready to let go and have some fun. On Wednesday afternoons at 2pm you can join John Mackie for some calming, gentle Tai Chi exercise.

Relax, rejuvenate and enjoy a holistic healing therapy with Sue Malcolm as she leads a Reiki group on Thursday mornings at 10am. Steve Thompson is back on Thursday afternoons with Photography for Beginners at 2pm.

The week is rounded off by Yvonne Ugate’s Poetry session on Friday afternoons at 3pm. This is a chance to share and discuss poetry and begin writing your own material.

There also a number of opportunities for volunteers who would like to run some groups on subjects they are passiontate and informed about. Please get in touch if you’d like to use these circumstances to share your passions with others and contribute to keeping spirits up.
