Hunslet Turned Upside Down

hunslet-upside-down_030514A group called Leeds Plan C are leading an event on Saturday (3 May 2014) which promises to explore Hunslet’s “contested past, uncertain present and several possible futures”.

The first of two linked events is a guided walk around Hunslet. It sets off from The Tetley at 1:30pm and explores the area variously known as Hunslet, the South Bank or City Centre South. You are invited to bring your walking shoes and your thinking caps.

This is followed at 4pm with a theatre performance called ‘Archaeology of the Future’ about a similar post-industrial area in the centre of Nottingham, known as the island. The performance will be followed by a discussion.

The events are free, but you should book a ticket via the Eventbrite website.
