Holbeck is set to come together to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this summer.
There will be a free jubilee party held at St Matthew’s Community Centre on June 2 from 6pm.
Entry will strictly be by ticket only and entrance includes a buffet, entertainment, bingo and raffle. It’s open to all Holbeck residents.
Ian Pickup, from the Voice of Holbeck community group, said:
“It is the first time we have managed to get all 13 community groups in Holbeck together.
“It didn’t make sense for us all to do separate things so we got a committee together and have now planned this event for all residents to get involved in. We are really looking forward to it.”
