Anyone for Tennis? – At JCCS its Everyone For Tennis!
The weekend of the 16/17May 2015, Tennis centres across the UK hosted Free Tennis sessions to the local public as part of the Great British Tennis Weekend. JCCS Tennis was no exception to this!
On the Sunday 17 May, John Charles Tennis Centre opened its doors and many families took to the courts to come and have a go at Tennis. Some of them for their very first time.
Matt Parker and William Tatterson, two of the centre’s coaches were on hand to infect everyone with Tennis Fever. Matches, mini games, drills, coaching tips, spot prizes were just a few of the Tennis activities that happened on a fantastic afternoon of Tennis.
Matt said: “It was a great day, and I am looking forward to the next two, but mostly looking forward to the session on 4 July as it coincides with the first weekend of Wimbledon!”
