Applications are now being taken for the next cohort of The Restaurant Ready Programme which will be taking place 14-21 March 2022.
The course is designed for anyone interested in working in the hospitality industry, enjoys working with people and have a natural flair for customer service.
The 5 day course will give trainees the skills they need to succeed and help them gain employment in our local hospitality sector.
The Restaurant Ready programme is delivered by Leeds City Council’s Employment & Skills team in partnership with Leeds City College, The Engine Room @ Leeds Bid and the Leeds Hotels and Venues Association.
The course is free and is available to anyone 19+ who would like to improve their skills, re-train or obtain practical experience.
Attendees on the course will receive the following qualifications as part of the programme:
- Level 2 Barista Skills
- Level 2 Food Safety
- Level 1 Customer Service
All candidates who complete this exciting programme will get a guaranteed interview with a local employer:

Applicants must be available 14-21 March, from 9:15am-4:30pm each day.
