White Rose is also home to The Escapologist, a magical escape room and bar. Themed rooms include The Gunpowder Plot, Almost Alice, The School of Wizardry, and Sherlocked In – all are family-friendly, and can be booked in advance.

Plus, on 19 and 20 February the centre will be hosting the Star Wars-themed Sentinel Squad, greeting guests and fundraising for The Snappy Trust, followed by The Cosmaniacs, an extraordinary group of fundraising superheroes, on Saturday 26 February. Guests are invited to snap selfies with them in the Central Atrium from 11am–1pm and 2–4pm.

The centre’s retailers will also be marking half term with great offers, including Buy One, Get One Half Price on selected lines at The Entertainer, half term treats at Smiggle, and new bears at Build-a-Bear Workshop including Animal Crossing, PAW Patrol, and Star Wars favourites.

The centre also boasts a covered, all-weather play area – perfect to let the little ones blow off steam, come rain or shine.

Steven Foster, Centre Director at White Rose, said:

“We aim to be as welcoming as possible to visitors of all ages at White Rose, and half term is one of our busiest times of the year. We’re hoping to see a little bit of sunshine for visitors to enjoy outside in The Village while they shop, eat, and play, but we have more than enough indoor entertainment to keep the whole family happy should the weather not behave itself.”

White Rose has more than 100 shops including Flying Tiger, Game, Build-a-Bear Workshop, Smiggle, and more, plus family-friendly restaurants such as Five Guys, Fridays, and Spud u Like by James Martin – all under one roof. With more than 5,000 free parking spaces and long opening hours, from 10am – 9pm weekdays, 9am – 8pm Saturdays and 11am – 5pm Sundays, it’s easy to plan a day out to keep the kids entertained.
