The Board of Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation (BITMO) are very concerned about the cost of living for local families and have provided funds for BITMO to arrange 21 events with free food and activities during the summer holidays.
BITMO will be hosting free meals and family-friendly activities three times a week, starting on Tuesday (26 July 2022).
Every Tuesday – from July 26 to 30 August. BITMOs GATE is open for games and crafts from 2pm. Hot meals will be served from 3-5pm.
Every Wednesday – from July 27 to 31 August – picnic bags available from BITMOs GATE to eat in or take away – sandwich, crisps, fruit, yoghurt, cake plus outdoor activities. Food from 12-2pm. Activities 1-4pm. See poster below for more details.
Every Friday from 30 July to 2 September, 9.30am-12pm, it’s Breakfast Club Plus at BITMOs GATE. Full English or cereal, toast, juice. Children can have small plates made up of what they like from sausages, eggs, beans, toast, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes. Also games and crafts 9.30am-12pm.
We would also like to promote the Belle Isle activity day on Tuesday 16 August 12-3pm on Parkside Field (next to Windmill Primary) organised by the youth service.
