It’s time to give the Cottingley Hall estate a bit of a boost!
On the 19th and 20th of August Cottingley In Bloom – along with Groundwork Leeds, Mears and the council – are getting together to make the estate a little more lovely.
If you have some spare time 10am til 3pm on these days you’re welcome to come and join in. Green fingers not essential, but wanting to make and difference is! There will be activities for people of all ages. More details on the Cottingley TRAC Facebook page.
Cottingley in Bloom currently has a hard working committee of residents and Councillor Angela Gabriel as the chair. They meet regularly to brainstorm ideas and source funding to make the estate a little more pleasant to live in. The group recently received grants for planters on Cottingley Approach.
Cottingley is like living in a desert. No shops, no amenities … November !
