To recognise Mental Health Awareness Week, Belle Isle TMO has launched a timetable of free wellbeing activities available at the GATE between Monday 8 May and Friday 12 May.
Wellbeing is the state of being comfortable, healthy and happy, so all the activities on offer during Wellbeing Week provide a focus on those things!
Join us for Chair Based Exercises on Monday from 2-3pm with Activators from Leeds Let’s Get Active to improve your health, and our Art Class on Monday afternoon 1-3pm might make you happy!
On Tuesday you’ll be feeling comfortable after our Mindfulness and Relaxation session, provided by Sense from 12.30-1pm.
The Wednesday Walking Group, between 12-1pm, is certain to make you feel happy and healthy, as will the Chair Based Exercises on Wednesday from 2-3pm with Activators from Leeds Let’s Get Active to improve your health.
Get comfortable as Phoenix Health and Wellbeing will be holding a taster session for therapeutic massage on Thursday between 11am-1pm.
Finish the week on Friday morning from 10am-12pm chatting about your health and happiness with Connect for Health– who can link you to local health and wellbeing services- and Creative Practitioners from Mental Health Team.
If you’re ready to feel more comfortable, healthy and happy, then support will be available from NHS Stop Smoking Service on Friday from 12.50pm.
