Pupils from Cockburn Reach Academy recently took part in an exciting and immersive Chinese dragon dance workshop.
The workshop encouraged pupils to explore rhythm, coordination, and teamwork while learning about traditional Chinese culture and the significance of the dragon in celebrations.
Pupils worked together to manoeuvre colourful, authentic dragon props, experimenting with movement, patterns, and timing to bring the dragon to life.
The sessions provided a lively and inclusive space where dance became a universal language, allowing children to express creativity, build confidence, and experience the joy of performing.
