Researchers from the University of Leeds are looking for volunteers for an air quality monitoring project.
They are looking for citizen scientists to host air quality sensors and join workshops, to understand how polluted our air is in Leeds, and what we can do about it.
This resident (pictured) on Grove Road near Headingley has been concerned about increased traffic near his home and a children’s nursery. And community venues like Imagine Leeds are installing them too.
If you’d like to help tackle air pollution, and gain a better understanding of the air outside your home or workplace, get in touch with the researcher Carolina Montoya Pachongo on c.montoyapachongo@leeds.ac.uk
The researchers are particularly looking for volunteers from South Leeds. The sensors can be hosted by residents or on schools or other community buildings.
