Welcome to the second News Café at Middleton Elderly Aid and Is held every Thursday from 9an to 11am.
Here is what 2 of the centres members have to say
Mavis, says,
“I moved to Middleton in 2008 into sheltered Housing and joined Middleton Elderly Aid.
The best thing I ever done. I volunteer, you meet some very nice people and have a lot of laughs. I do Baking on a Tuesday, and sell what we have baked for people in the centre.
Sam (Centre) Manager arranges Trips, we have exercise on 2 days a week. I joined the arm in arm walking group on a Wednesday. In fact we have lot of fun every day.
I would not be without the centre, and want to thank all friends, staff and volunteers.”Joyce , says
“It was the best thing I ever did when moving to Middleton last October. I started going to The Middleton Elderly Aid Centre for the over 60s on the corner of Middleton Park Ave and Acre Road..
I have made a lot of new friends and there is a lot of activities to do. If you have never been , start going it is a very friendly place to visit. We do crafts, Ping Pong, Bingo and Hoy.
May I just add my thanks to Sam, Tracy, Brian and Denise.”
