Alan Shaw, from the Friends of Middleton Park group has sent us the following details:
This weekend sees the start of the Friends of Middleton Park’s summer (ahem) programme of events and activities in the park – something I know you have all been waiting for.
We start with a gentle walk through the bluebells from Park Halt up into the park.
You can either join us from the 11am or 1pm trains from the Middleton Railway’s terminus at Moor Road or join us as we walk down to meet the trains at about quarter to.
We will be doing the walks on both Sunday AND Monday. Come along, see the bluebells and have a cuppa at our new temporary accomodation near the bowling green!
