South Leeds Life is not affiliated to any political party, but we do believe that local democracy is very important. On Thursday you have two chances to affect how Leeds is run.
One of the three Councillors in each of our three wards – Beeston & Holbeck, City & Hunslet and Middleton Park – is up for election. You can find the list candidates here.
We are also being asked if we want an elected Mayor in Leeds instead of the current system. We covered some of the issues here.
So our only message is: go out and VOTE on Thursday. Polling stations will be open from 7:00am to 10:00pm.
