Beeston’s nonagenarians are in for a treat as St Mary’s Church celebrates the Queen’s 90th birthday with a Strawberry Cream Tea on Saturday (11 June 2016).
Everyone is welcome at the celebration which runs from 2-4pm at Beeston Parish Centre. Tickets are £4 which includes a sandwich, scone, strawberries and cream.
And if like the Queen you were born in 1926 (or before) you’ll be given a free scone!
As well as the refeshments, there will be cake, book and Fairtrade stalls; plus a Special ‘Royal’ Birthday Cake raffle.
