Clocks going forward this weekend mark the return to longer opening hours for the city’s recycling centres.
From Monday 28 March 2016 the city’s eight recycling centres, including Holmewell Road in Middleton, will stay open from 8am to 6pm.
All other sites are open seven days a week so residents can re-use and recycle a wide variety of items.
