Beeston Festival has announced that it is now taking stall bookings for this year’s event.
The community festival which takes part in Cross Flatts Park each year will take place on Saturday 8th June. Stall pitches are priced according to the type of organisation and what is to be sold. Over the last few years organisers have seen between 80-100 stalls booked for the bazaar area of the festival. Crowds of up to 5,000 people are expected to attend.
The deadline for bookings and Friday 17th May. Late bookings cannot be taken because of the administration involved and the issuing of vehicle passes to the site.
Organisers are also looking for volunteers to help on the day, or bake cakes, or donate jam jars and bric-a-brac. If you can help please contact them by email at beestonfestival@gmail.com.
The 2013 festival promises the usual mix of music, dance, martial arts, arts and crafts, sports, refreshments and of course the fun fair.
